Herts and Essex Renovations exists because too many homeowners were being handed a half finished kitchen and a list of other people to chase. We do the whole job, and we stand behind it.
Our story
Local, hands on and deliberately small
We are not a national installer with subcontractors we have never met.
We are based in Bishop's Stortford and most of our work sits within a short drive of the town. That is a choice, not a limitation. Staying local means we can survey quickly, be back on site within the hour if a delivery goes wrong, and rely on the same suppliers week after week.
Kitchen installation is the heart of the business. Over the years the other trades were added because a kitchen is never just carcasses and doors. It needs electrics moved, walls making good, floors levelling, tiling and a proper decoration at the end. Rather than hand those stages to strangers, we brought them in house.
Please note we are Herts and Essex Renovations. We are not connected to any similarly named local company, and we always use our full name so there is no confusion about who is coming to your door.

Kitchens first
Kitchen installation is our main trade, not a sideline. Most weeks we have one on the go somewhere between Bishop's Stortford and Chelmsford.

Electrics, plumbing, tiling and decorating are all covered by us, so you get one written quote and one person to call.
Tidy sites
Dust sheets down, floors protected, waste cleared as we go and a proper clean before we hand the room back.
